Most of my research focuses on a unique state of consciousness – lucid dreaming. In lucid dreams the dreamers are aware that they are dreaming and can deliberately influence dream content. As eye movements in a dream correspond with actual eye movements, lucid dreams can be successfully verified in a sleep laboratory by using predefined eye signals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In my research, I try to understand the experience of lucid dreaming, the nature and laws of the dream world, its \u2018inhabitants\u2019 (dream characters) and their psychology. I explore the potentials of lucid dreaming for self-development and growth, including creative problem solving, physical skills training, mental and physical healing, development of mindful awareness, self-transcendence and spiritual growth. I am also interested in ways how lucid dreaming can be facilitated to make this unique and enriching experience more available.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
